What to Expect
The Role
The Maintenance Supervisor will report to the Customer Account Manager, will liaise with the customers operational and engineering teams and will be responsible for:
Ensuring the automation delivers the operational plan daily.
Ensuring Planned Preventative Maintenance is completed in line with the Computerised Maintenance System.
Reactive tasks are managed quickly and efficiently.
Ensuring all information is captured on the Computerised Maintenance System, including booking spares, time, and machine and fault information.
Identify future projects and enhancements to improve throughput and capacity and reduce downtime.
Develop good standard reporting and work with the customer.
Ensure all shifts are covered.
Develop the team to ensure progression of skills and competencies.
Ensuring a good level of housekeeping of all automated areas is maintained
Adhering to all health and safety requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
The successful Maintenance Supervisor will have:
ONC/HNC or equivalent
Electrical bias preferred
Proficient experience in Engineering and Maintenance
Excellent communication skills
Effective time management
Strong problem-solving skills
Good customer relations
Ability to manage a strong team
This role would suit a current shift leader, supervisor or an engineer looking to take the next step into management. Needs to be technically strong and able to learn at pace and understand the customers operational plans.
